Meet Summit, our Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4x4 with a custom conversion by Vansmith in Boulder, Colorado. At 19.5 feet, Summit packs a comfortable bed, a practical kitchen, and a place to sit down together into a compact van. Warm wood finishes give the interior a welcoming feel, while the open rear doors bring a little of your campsite inside. It’s a great fit for couples or solo travelers looking to try vanlife for a weekend, go climbing in Yosemite —or take a longer road trip.

What's Included With Summit
Summit has the essentials for cooking, relaxing, and sleeping on the road: a bed for two, swivel front seats, and a dining table for meals or planning your next stop. The kitchen includes a two-burner cooktop, a 12V refrigerator, and a sink with hot water, along with pots, pans, dishes, cups, and cooking utensils for two. A Webasto heater takes the chill out of cooler nights, while a ceiling fan helps keep air moving.
For stays without electrical hookups, Summit has solar charging, a 320Ah lithium battery bank, and a 2,000W inverter. A 30-gallon freshwater tank and outdoor hot-water shower give you a place to rinse off after a day outside. We’ll walk you through managing power and water at pickup so you can make the most of the setup on your trip.
Your rental includes a detailed orientation guide and a personal walkthrough of the van. Bring your groceries, clothing, outdoor gear, and your own bedding and towels. Summit doesn’t have an onboard toilet, indoor shower, or rooftop air conditioning, so keep those in mind when choosing your campsites.
