 What’s included with my rental?

Every BayCampr RV comes fully stocked with the essentials — cookware, utensils, dishware, RV-safe toilet paper, cleaning supplies, hoses, leveling blocks, power cords, and basic campsite gear.Bedding & linens are optional, since many renters prefer to bring their own.Full details are on each RV’s page under “What’s Included.”

🛣️ How many miles are included?

Each rental includes 150 miles per night at no extra charge.
Additional miles are billed at:

  • $0.49/mile (first 500 additional miles)

  • $0.59/mile after that

This structure keeps long-distance trips flexible and affordable.

 How does generator use work?

You’ll receive 3 free hours per night. After that, generator use is $4/hour.

Most renters stay well within the included allowance.

🛡️ How is insurance handled?

At checkout, you will be presented with several insurance plans you can choose from with varying coverage.

  • Basic, Essential, or Peace of Mind

These protect both you and the RV throughout the rental period.

If you prefer to use your own insurance, some carriers can issue a temporary insurance binder listing BayCampr as Additional Insured and Loss Payee for the rental period. Check with your provider.

🕒 What are pickup & return times?

Standard pickup is 1 PM – 4 PM, and return is by 9 AM - 12 PM.We do our best to be flexible within those windows — late returns and earlier pickups may be requested at an additional cost.

 Are optional add-ons available?

Yes! Popular add-ons include:

  • "Fly in" packages (bedding, linens, chair, patio mat)

  • Early pickup / late return (when available)

  • Outdoor camp chairs

  • Pre-Paid Cleaning

  • Bike Rack

Options vary slightly between RVs — checkout shows your available selections.

What gas mileage can I expect?

  • Hawkeye (Ford V10): ~8–10 mpg

  • Ranger (Mercedes diesel): ~13–16 mpg

Actual mileage depends on terrain, driving speed, and generator usage.

👤 Who can drive the RVs?

Anyone 25+ years old with a valid U.S. driver’s license and a clean driving record is eligible to drive.

Additional drivers can be verified in the reservation system and must sign as additional driver on rental agreements.
