Partner Hosted (Owner-Operated) - Available Across California

You keep the RV. You handle check-out/check-in. BayCampr runs the business side.

This is the best fit for owners who want more income and less hassle, while keeping the RV at home or at their preferred storage location.

BayCampr handles:

  • Listing creation + optimization (photos + copywriting)

  • Pricing strategy + calendar management

  • Renter communication + screening

  • Booking administration + support

  • Rental policies + standards

  • Review and performance optimization

 

Owner handles:

  • Storage (home or local facility)

  • Pre-trip readiness and basic reset

  • Check-out and check-in using BayCampr checklists + photo standards

 

Revenue split:
Owner 85% / BayCampr 15% (nightly rental revenue)

Managed Consignment (Limited Availability - Bay Area / Select Regions

BayCampr manages the rental operation end-to-end.

This is for owners who want the closest thing to “hands-off” income. BayCampr handles turnovers, staging, guest support, and service coordination.

BayCampr handles:

  • Everything in Partner Hosted

  • Check-out / check-in process

  • Cleaning + staging coordination

  • Condition reporting + documentation

  • Maintenance and repair coordination

 

Storage Options:

  • Owner-hosted storage with BayCampr access, or

  • BayCampr-sourced storage (pass-through)

 

Revenue split:

Owner 50% / BayCampr 50% (nightly rental revenue)
+ storage and commercial insurance pass-through (as needed)

What Makes a Good Consignment RV?

Some RVs consistently perform better in different rental markets. In general, the most in-demand units balance size, ease of use, and versatility.

 

Great fit rig examples (Bay Area)

  • Camper Vans and Class B units are highly requested for couples and flexible travel.

  • Class C motorhomes less than 27 feet are a strong all-around option and rent reliably.

  • Family-friendly Class C or Class A RVs with bunk beds or drop-down bunks are popular for families & groups and tend to lead to longer rentals.

Larger motorhomes

  • Class A motorhomes are a premium category and tend to stay booked due to limited availability on rental platforms.

Trailers

  • Travel trailers under 6000 lbs GVWR are very popular, especially bunk models.

  • Travel trailers are best for the Partner Hosted program due to specific tow setups.

  • Tow vehicle requirements & safety standards apply
